American Heart Association Certification Made Easy with RC Health Services.

RCHealth Services is a family run business that is a testament to the true American spirit of small business.  In January of 2009, Robert Chambers began teaching CPR courses out of his suburban home just south of Houston in Pearland, Texas.  As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse with an idea to help spread the mission of the American Heart Association he started RC Health Services.  RC Health Services is a company that is growing despite today’s weak economy having more than 50,000 visitors to the website and currently registering an average of 300 unique visitors a day.  There have been 4000 students come through the doors in less than 2 years of operation.
Headquartered in the new facility just south of the Texas Medical Center of Houston this company has rocketed to the forefront of the Healthcare training niche.  There are many secrets to success but the main aspect is that the focus is on high quality training.  The instructors are completely trained in house by the owners to insure that courses remain fluid and AHA guideline appropriate.  All the instructors are Paramedics and Registered Nurses and are well experienced in dealing with life threatening medical emergencies.

Current course listing includes, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver First Aid, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), ECG Interpretation (EKG), and Blooborne Pathogens.

WHAT’S NEW!

There are many new and exciting developments with RC Health Services.  The first is the beginning of the TNCC program starting in September of this year.  The TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum) course is a once every four year certification specifically designed for Registered Nurses.  RC Health Services is also approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a provider of CEUs for EMS workers such as Paramedics, EMT Intermediates, and EMT Basics.  RC Health Services has been approved by the Department of Aging and Development as a school for Certified Nurse Aide program to begin in January of 2012.

The latest development is the creation of the MEDTAC program.  MEDTAC is a dynamic defensive tactics program designed specifically for medical personnel (Physicians, Nurses, Allied Health Practitioners, Paramedics, and EMTs.  Participants will learn the basic skills needed to manage a physical assault without harming the patient.

Current projections for 2012 are in excess of 5000 students!
